ACO (active catalytic oxidation)

ACO (active catalytic oxidation) 5 litres

ACO (active catalytic oxidation) 5 litres

Ref: 5.7.25

Price: £22.30 / €25.65 (Excluding VAT at 17.5%)

ACO is supplied as a solution and is injected into filtered water after the sand or AFM filters. ACO is intended for use in public and private swimming pools, but it may find applications in other industries. ACO is used in combination with chlorine, it will reduce chlorine consumption and may eventual replace chlorine in pools.

ACO is a active catalytic oxidising agent that will increase the oxidising potential of water and will provide residual disinfection. The product is not consumbed, so it will gradually build up in the water and will reach a steady state situation after approximately 4 weeks.

ACO needs to be added constantly at a rate of 0.5ml to 1 ml of ACO per cubic metre of water passed through the filters. If the water flow is 100 cubic metres of water per hour, then you need 50ml to 100 ml of ACO per hour. For private pools or lightly used pools then less of the product will be required and it may be added as 1 x dose per week, at a rate of 5ml to 10ml per cubic meter of water in the pool. For example, if the pool volume is 80 cubic metres, you will require 400ml to 800 ml per week to be added to the pool once a week.
