9 cubm/hr 3.00m long fine bubble air diffuser for waste water treatment

Fine bubble high performance air diffusers. Semi flexible diffuser construction 300cm long 32mm diameter. Maximum recommended air flowrate is 10 cubic metres of air per hour. Materials of construction are plastic with 316 stainless steel end fittings, aslo fitted with non return valve in diffuser. Diffuser contains its own internal fused silica bead ballast. End fittings are 1/2" acetyl plastic as standard.

The Dryden Air diffuser is the leading air diffuser used in UK aquaculture, treatment of leachate water on landfill sites, sewerage treatment and numerous other applications.

AFM grade 1 filtration media

AFM (Advanced Filtration Media) grade 1 is the standard sized AFM media equivalent to 16 x 30 grade sand. M

Supplied in 25kg sacks, grade 1 particle size 0.5mm to 1.10mm. Media should be used on top of a layer of grade 2 AFM.

Oxygen standard probe

High performance, very robust galvanic oxygen probe for the measurment of dissolved oxygen in water, waste water and air. Completely sealed internals, so there is no risk of insulation failure, heavy duty Sub Sea cable, high mv out-put 6.5 mv to approx 1mg/l dissolved oxygen. Ideal probe for the Dryden Aqua, AquaTraul system or your own oxygen monitors such as multichannel or stand-alone PLC based systems.

The probe is supplied with 5 meters of cable (alternative lengths available), pack of 5 membranes and 50ml of electrolyte.

The AquaTraul 16 channel system has 16 analogue inputs for dissolved oxygen probes. The analogue inputs also accept volt free contacts from float switches or pressure switches. The system can therefore be used as a complete oxygen monitor and process controller. The 16 channel unit has 2 alarm volt free relay outputs which can be used for the automatic control of equipment, or for connection to an alarm system. The AquaTraul 8/8 has the same specification except there are 8 inputs and 8 control out-puts that can be configured to each input. Use the 8/8 unit to control individual tanks or systems.

Additional Aquatraul units can be daisy chained together to give more inputs and outputs. This arrangement means you can install the AquaTraul next to the sensors in order to cut down on wiring.

The AquaTraul requires a standard PC operating windows 3.1, win95, win98 or NT in order to view the data and to permit datalogging of the information. However the AquaTraul does not need to be connected to the PC in order to function as an alarm system.

RS485 serial modem, used to allow your PC to cimmunicate with up to 10 AquaTraul units ona network of a maximim length of 500m. Comunications cable shold be a twisted pair of cables, 2.5 square area.

The RS485 modem connects to your computer using a 9 pin RS232 D plug. Power supply is 12v dc, provided with the equipment, out-with the UK you may need to provide your own 12vdc, 300mAmp power supply.

Power supply unit

230vac/12v DC uninteruptable power supply, rated at 2 amps with a 7 amp internal back-up battery. The power supply unit should be located as close as possible to the AquaTraul to avoid voltage drop, and use a large conductor cable. Current demand by AquaTraul is only 0.1 to 0.5 amps, the battery will give up to 48 hours back-up.

It is recommended that one power supply is used per AquaTraul unit, this also helps to avoid communication interferance when there are a multiple number of AquaTrauls on one network.
