AFM grade 1 filtration media

AFM (Advanced Filtration Media) grade 1 is the standard sized AFM media equivalent to 16 x 30 grade sand. M

Supplied in 25kg sacks, grade 1 particle size 0.5mm to 1.10mm. Media should be used on top of a layer of grade 2 AFM.

Completely sealed internals, so there is no risk of insulation failure, heavy duty Sub Sea cable, high mv out-put 6.5 mv to approx 1mg/l dissolved oxygen. Ideal probe for the Dryden Aqua, AquaTraul system or your own oxygen monitors such as multichannel or stand-alone PLC based systems.

Eco-Treat Clarity is a natural pond supplement of beneficial bacteria used to restore the natural balance of your pond. Eco treat used all year round will help to maintain the biological balance of your pond by controlling algae, reducing ammonia and digesting organic sediment. This is a natural product that contains no harsh chemicals and is easy and safe to apply.

Ecotreat is an inoculation of beneficial bacteria, the quantity to add to the water depends on the size of the pond/lake. For ponds of 500 to 2500 litres add two scoops per week for two weeks followed by 1 scoop each week in the summer and 2 scoops per month in the winter. For ponds of 2500 to 5000 litres add 2 x scoops each day for 5 days, followed by 2 per week during the summer and 1 x per week during the winter.

Excess weed and debris should be removed from the lake if possible, also you need to increase the circulation and oxygen levels for best results, an aeration system will perform this task. A packaged system is included in the shopping cart.

Eco Treat is a natural supplement that will restore the biological harmony to your pond and actively improves the environment for your fish, plants and wildlife. The product will reduce blanket weed and algal blooms by reducing the organics, nitrogen and phosphorous levels in your pond, lake or fish farm. The net result is a cleaner healthier pond.

Ecotreat is an inoculation of beneficial bacteria, the quantity to add to the water depends on the size of the pond/lake. To calculate the amount, determine the volume of the pond in cubic metres and divide the result by 1.6. If the lake is deeper than 2m use 2m as the average water depth. The result is called the dose factor D. The initial dose to be added is 2 x D in grammes. Two weeks later add 1 x D, then 0.5 x D every month thereafter.
