Fine bubble high performance air diffusers. Semi flexible diffuser construction 300cm long 32mm diameter. Maximum recommended air flowrate is 10 cubic metres of air per hour. Materials of construction are plastic with 316 stainless steel end fittings, aslo fitted with non return valve in diffuser. Diffuser contains its own internal fused silica bead ballast. End fittings are 1/2" acetyl plastic as standard.

Ozone detector card

Ozone detector card, each card can take five measurements of ozone and five cards are supplied with the pack. The card will measure ozone levels in air from 10ppb to 105ppb, this is the important range over which human health, respiratory and allergic reactions may be initiated. The card is intended as an indicator to help protect the young, elderly, people with respiratory or allergic reactions as well as the active sports person that does not want to be exposed to pollution while enjoying excercise in towns or on the top of a mountain.

The card is also important as a personnel monitor in industry and in the office, where laser printers and photocopiers and other machines all produce ozone. The legal limit in the UK for 8 hour exposure is presently set at 100ppb, any level above this concentration is un-acceptable and illegal in the work-place.

The float switch can switch small pumps on and off directly, however it possible it is always best to use a low control voltage which is used to activate a remote relay. The remote relay can then switch heavy loads such as pumps on or off.

Eco Treat is a natural supplement that will restore the biological harmony to your pond and actively improves the environment for your fish, plants and wildlife. The product will reduce blanket weed and algal blooms by reducing the organics, nitrogen and phosphorous levels in your pond, lake or fish farm. The net result is a cleaner healthier pond.

Ecotreat is an inoculation of beneficial bacteria, the quantity to add to the water depends on the size of the pond/lake. To calculate the amount, determine the volume of the pond in cubic metres and divide the result by 1.6. If the lake is deeper than 2m use 2m as the average water depth. The result is called the dose factor D. The initial dose to be added is 2 x D in grammes. Two weeks later add 1 x D, then 0.5 x D every month thereafter.

Excess weed and debris should be removed from the lake if possible, also you need to increase the circulation and oxygen levels for best results, an aeration system will perform this task. A packaged system is included in the shopping cart.
