The following is a heavy metal leachate analysis of AFM in a sodium bicarbonate solution. The official result below show that AFM actual produced lower readings that the blank against which it was compared.

Antimony and cadmium were found in higher levels in the blank than in the AFM leachate water.  The result confirms that the AFM is actually adsorbing heavy metals from solution.
