Worm-Away is a soil and grass conditioner which helps prevent the growth of earth worms. While worms are very important for aerating and mixing soil, their casts can also cause problems in very smooth lawns, bowling greens and golf courses. Earth worms also attract birds, and a flock of birds is the last animal you want visiting airports.

 Worm Away is manufacture from recycled glass bottles to form a fine glass sand, the product is only supplied in 1 tonne big bags, 25 kg bags on request.

This is  a similar product that some companies are now using as a filter media  as a sand substitute in  swimming pools and water treatment.  WormAway may be used for low end water treatment applications, but it can not be certified for drinking water, swimming pools or clean water applications.

Application rate on a bowling green is just 100 to 200g/m2
