| Conditions for Operation | Grade 0 is used to the ultimate mechanical filtration performance, especially when the filter can not be back-washed at high flowrates. | | Bed depth | 10 – 100 cm, application dependent | | Backwash rate | 25 -30 m³/m²/h | | Expansion of bed after backwash | 15 – 20% | | Service flow rate | 0.1 – 50 m³/m²/hr in accordance with standard practice and specific application.
