Large seawater lagoons and lido systems now possible with the minimum of filtration when ACO, NoPhos and APF products are used to treat the water.   Perfotmance factor of public swimming pool systems reduced to less than 2 giving an 80% to 90% reduction in chlorine consumption.

Tertiary Treatment of  sewage effluent Site A1

Demo projects home

The photograph on the right shows the pilot plant which has been installed on sewage treatment works.

Site A1 is a large sewage works employing conventional trickling down-flow filter beds followed by a BAF plant tertiary treatment system.  However the quality of the effluent is not as good as the Water Company would like.  A Dryden Aqua AFM® filtration systems has therefore been installed.

Continuous water samplers have been installed before and after the test bed and data is being collated.  The information will appear to registered users on the index page

Samples have been collected before and after the the AFM® filters.  The discharge water from the sewage works BAF plant is shown on the left,  and the AFM® filtered water on the right.  The BAF water has solids in suspension and the water has a brown/green tint.  The AFM® water is clean and bright.
