Aeration as a means of Water Treatment
| In all forms of biological water treatment it is not sufficient to simply have high levels of oxygen, the water quality and environmental conditions for the culture of the bacteria and algal species should also be near optimum, or as good as can be practically achieved. All aeration systems will add oxygen to the water but they will also change the quality of the water.
