Dryden Aqua have been manufacturing semi flexible self ballast type tubular diffusers for many years. The diffusers are now used in a wide range of applications and environments ranging from aquaculture, to activated sludge treatment in landfill sites. The diffusers are efficient, simple to use and easy to maintain. Dryden Aqua have provided diffusers for some of the largest fine bubble diffused aeration systems in Europe. The diffusers also have the advantage that they do not need to be anchored to the base of a tank or lagoon. They can also be retrofitted while the tank/lagoon when full of water. The units are easy to maintain, indeed there is even no need to turn the air blowers off during cleaning. |

The vortex jet propeller rotates to create the negative pressure, air is drawn into the shaft and dispersed it into the water in a horizontal direction. A mass flow of high velocity bubbles are injected into the water to give oxygen transfer efficiencies as high as 2kg of oxygen per hour for every kw of energy expended. |
