| No-Foam is a silicon based anti-foaming agent used to prevent the foaming in water treatment system, food processing lakes and fish
culture water. Foaming of the water is an indication of a high dissolved organic concentration and often occurs when fish are crowded together in a small
volume of water. For example during live fish transportation or disease treatment of the fish. If the fish have to be seen during transport or disease
treatment, then No-Foam may be used to prevent the formation of foam. Please note that No-Foam will tend to increase bubble size if diffusers are used,
therefore there may also be a decrease in gas transfer efficiency from the diffuser to the water, this phenomenon is particularly important in freshwater
systems.
No-Foam is supplied in a concentrated form and should be diluted by 1 in 25,000 to 1 in 40,000.
