The Dryden Aqua heat pumps can be used for both cooling
or heating applications. The heat exchanger is manufactured from
titanium and all wetted parts are either titanium or PVC. The
equipment is therefore suitable for seawater applications and well as
chlorinated systems such as swimming pools.
The equipment should be well ventilated in preferably on
an out-side wall with a louvered section. The equipment should not be
exposed to the elements, especially rain and seawater spray to avoid
corrosion of the aluminum. If used for cooling applications, as the air
temperature drops, cooling capacity declines, the equipment is not suitable
for cooling when the air temperature is below 5 deg C.
A rotary scroll compressor is used in the equipment
for quiet and reliable operation over many years.
A PLC is used to control the heat pump, with a digital
display of the temperature. You simply input the temperature you want
and the equipment will then change the temperature of the water to what ever
value you set whether is is a heating or cooling application.
Different models are available from 1kw to 5 kw
input power requirements. Out put energy is 4 times the input for
heating applications, and 3 times the input for cooling, power out-put
is therefore therefore ranges from 4kw to 20 kw.
