The immersion heater is manufactured from high integrity fluoropolymers. The materials in contact with the water are all non metallic, this makes the units ideal for many applications including marine aquaculture, the electroplating industries, or any application where plastic corrosion resistance is required. With regards to marine and aquaculture applications, heaters that do not impart any potentially toxic metal ion components into the water are essential. Out heaters meet this strict specifications. Installation. The heater is provided with feet which allow it to either sit on the bottom of the tank. Alternatively it can be suspended, and the feet used to keep it off the wall of the tank. Cable. The heater is provided with 2 metres of non heating cable, from the heater to the red connection. This cable can be under the water, or liquid. Attached to the red connector is 1.5m of electrical cable. Feet. The standard height of the feet is 50mm.
