AquaTraul
Technical aspects

Each AquaTraul may have up to 16 oxygen probes (AquaTraul 16),  or AquaTraul 8/8  which can be fitted with 8 oxygen probes (or combination  of   float switches, pressure switches or any volt free contacts). The AquaTraul 8/8   also has eight control relay out-puts,   the 8/8 units is therefore used for monitoring and control applications,  for example it may be connected to solenoid valves to regulate the oxygen input. Once the AquaTraul has been set by the PC, they become completely independent of the PC and the other AquaTraul units.  If any one AquaTraul unit  fails, or if the communication cable fails,  the rest of the system will continue to function. AquaTrauls are simple low cost units,  you could have a spare board or unit ready for immediate plug in.  The AquaTraul network communicates via RS485 serial BUS protocol with a standard PC which is used to view the data, graph the results, store the information and calibrate the probes. Once the PC has set up the AquaTraul units,  they will then continue to monitor, alarm and control independently of the PC.

The AquaTraul is basically a simple interface between the sensors, the control out-puts and the PC,  and because the system is electronically simple,   it is extremely reliable.

The AquaTraul represents a state of the art low cost process, that has a high degree of independence and security,  but if it gets hit with lightening or any serious catastrophe,  the end user will be able to maintain or replace the components very quickly,  the security of the fish farm or process is maintained.  However any monitoring system is only as good as the probes, Dryden Aqua have therefore developed a  galvanic oxygen probe. We believe our probe to be the most robust and reliable probe available to industry,  and we do this at less than half the cost of our nearest competitor
