Pool checker from Dryden Aqua click here for the  Manual & Prices
The easy and accurate method for measuring pH, free chlorine and combine chlorine, that is quick, simple and low cost.

In order to use the test ( read the manual) however you simply fill the plastic chamber with water from the pool, add the tablets which are foil bubble packed. Allow the tablets to dissolve and then after a few minutes compare the colour against the colour scale.  This is called a colourimetric analysis so it is important to keep everything very clean.  However it is often more accurate than expensive electronic colourimetric analyzers, because if there is any turbidity in the sample it will not interfere with the result.

pH range 6.8 to 8.2, resolution is 0.2 ph units

Free chlorine & Combine chlorine, 0.1mg/l to 6.0 mg/l , resolution is 0.1mg/l at low end of range

Each kit is supplied with 20 tests for free chorine DPD1, total chlorine DPD3 and pH.  More reagents can be purchased separately.

Target valves

Free chlorine  0.2 to 1.0mg/l
Total chlorine  less than 3 mg/l for out-door pools
pH  should be between 6.8 and 7.6

The Dryden Pool Checker is ideal for all private pools,  for public pools or pools that are heavily used we recommend our Titrimetric Analyser, click here for titrimetric analyzer
