Data logging Oxygen Meter
| Low cost oxygen data logger, the system is
small, portable, water protected to IP65. The information is downloaded directly
into a PC via an infra red communications port. If your PC does not have an IR port,
or if it is not compatible, we can provide a suitable IR port that connects to the
RS232 interface of the PC The datalogger is fitted with 4 x AA batteries which have a life of about 1 year. The batteries are easy to change so the instrument does not need to come back to Dryden Aqua. The electronics are contained in an IP65 box, there are no dials, buttons or displays on the instrument. The logger will store up to about 8000 readings, the sampling frequency can be set to seconds, minutes or hours. There is no better or versatile oxygen data logger available anywhere.
You need to use a lap top computer to calibrate and check the probe immediately before deployment, you can then leave the probe in situ for many days, weeks or even months. At a latter date recover the data logger and down load the data on to a PC using the infra red coms port. |
