The Dryden Aqua Maxi Direct is a water-proof  battery operated portable colourimeter used for the accurate analysis of water, either in the laboratory of on site. Applications include the following;

     Aquaculture water
     Lakes and ponds
     Drinking water
     Swimming pools
     Marine water testing
     Wastewater
     Industrial effluent

Most water analysis is conducted by adding certain chemicals to a small sample of water.  The chemical reagents are mixed with the 10ml water sample, and then left for up to 10 minutes.  The reagents react with the chemicals in the water sample, and the sample changes colour.  The colour and the intensity of the colour is measured automatically by the colorimeter, which then gives you an accurate reading of the chemical  concentration in the water sample.

Designed for determining settleable matter in water and waste effluent. Also used to measure sand content in well water. The leakproof closure makes it possible to withdraw sediment for gravimetric analysis, and also aids in cleaning. Closure design enables user to read graduations to zero. The cone is fully graduated from 0-1000 ml: 0-1 ml by 0.1 ml; 1-10 ml by 0.5 ml; 10-20 ml by 1 ml; 20-40 ml by 2 ml; 40-100 ml by 10 ml; 100-500 ml by 50 ml; 500-1000 ml by 100 ml.
