1. The Dryden AquaMon is a solar powered six channel monitor, it
will take two oxygen probes, two temperature and two digital inputs
such as a float or pressure switch.
2. It is a stand-alone unit or it can be part of wireless network
3. If exposed to sunlight it will not need a power supply because it
is fitted with a solar panel and internal chargeable battery.
4. The equipment has two relay out-puts so you can use it for alarm
or control applications. Set points are programmed from a key pad on
the unit or by software
5. If you need a multi-channel system or if you simply want to data
log the information, then add a base station Transceiver connected
to your PC. The base station will automatically configure and
connect with up to 50 AquaMons via a wireless communications network
to display and data log the results, or to provide a common alarm
system.
6. The wireless range is 350m around the base
station but this can be increased to several kilometres

Transmitter & controller ![]() Solar powered wireless transmitter and controller with internal battery for oxygen, temperature and any volt free contact such as a level or pressure switch. The AquaMon can be used as a stand-along unit for monitoring or control applications, or if you have more than one unit plus a Transceiver base station, it automatically becomes a multi-channel network using low powered radio communications over a distance of 350m or more.
Transceiver - control
& display, base station
product code 11.2.40 One Transceiver can service up to 100 probes (50 x transmitters) , power supply 12 v dc. The unit is located in your office or control room and is connected to a PC to view the oxygen readings, data log the information and program alarm set points. Once the unit has been configured the PC does not need to be running for the system to monitor, control or alarm. Software is provide with the system as part of the package. Software is also in development to permit the system to measure water quality such as BOD (biochemical oxidation demand) or the metabolic activity of fish, we can even use the system to predict algae blooms in lakes and the sea. The transceiver has 2 x alarm/control relay out-puts, which can be activated by any one or more oxygen probes. If there is an alarm condition, the probe location will be displayed on the screen.
