| Eco Treat is a natural supplement that will
restore the biological harmony to your pond and actively improves the environment for your
fish, plants and wildlife. The product will reduce blanket weed and algal blooms by
reducing the organics, nitrogen and phosphorous levels in your pond, lake or fish farm.
The net result is a cleaner healthier pond. Ecotreat is an inoculation of beneficial bacteria, the quantity to add to the water depends on the size of the pond/lake. To calculate the amount, determine the volume of the pond in cubic metres and divide the result by 1.6. If the lake is deeper than 2m use 2m as the average water depth. The result is called the dose factor D. The initial dose to be added is 2 x D in grammes. Two weeks latter add 1 x D, then 0.5 x D every month thereafter. Excess weed and debris should be removed from the lake if possible, also you need to increase the circulation and oxygen levels for best results, an aeration system will perform this task.
