Oxygen Generators Installation requirements
General conditions
Locate the generator in a well ventilated area that is protected from the weather elements and any water spray. The air temperature should be between 5 deg C and 35 deg C entering the unit, and it must be filtered to remove dust and air born particles.
The unit uses zeolite molecure sieve resins for the separation of oxygen and nitrogen. If the air has a high humidity, RH of 80% or if the air is loaded with water from mist, the performance of the system may be affected.
Cautionary Note
If oxygen is used in a building or in a confined area where there is not sufficient ventilation, the concentration of oxygen present in the air can increase. A small increase in the presentage of oxygen in the air may allow spontateous combustion of flamable materials. Great care and attention should therefore be exercised when using oxygen.
Users of pure oxygen must be aware of all local health and safety regulations governing the use of oxygen. No smoking or naked flames are permited in the vicinity of the equipment, all electrical items should be explosion proof.
Read the instructions supplied with the equipment before turning on.
