Chemical genesis is a new water treatment technology developed by Dryden Aqua that has implications in many types of water treatment system.  In system such as swimming pools, water fountains, cooling towers or many water treatment systems will be applicable to the technology.

Dryden Aqua have developed a range of coagulation products such as APF that drop the zeta potential of the water and remove negatively charged particles. New products have now been developed that will remove the positive charge particles from the water(ACO).  However the key point is that when the water is recycled or when ACO is injected into the water before APF, residual ACO product reacts with APF  to form a third new product that has the capacity to absorb organic matter and ion exchange with cations such as ammonium.

The APF & ACO combination is the first of this new breed of chemical water treatment products, together they work much better that the sum of the two parts, and have the added benefit that they leave no residual trace in the water.

In drinking water systems, the APF & ACO combination would provide for a much more stable water treatment system with no residual aluminium or THM`s in our drinking water

Swimming pools

A huge improvement in water quality and virtual elimination of  disinfection by-products.  ACO also has the potential to replace chlorine as the principle mans of controlling disease transmission.
