| The Skipper |
I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on the 6th of November 1988. I started sailing at the age of 10 years old on my dads bilge keel yacht. On the very first sail I got bit by the sailing bug. Since then I have not stopped racing and continue to race out of Port Edgar Yacht Club.
If I am not sailing/training. I am is fixing boats or driving the club rescue boat and coaching.
In only 8 years I have done 40,000nm of round the cans racing on varies different yachts,
At the age of 15 I got my Yachtmaster shore base, My very first sailing qualification. since then I have gone onto get many other certificates and qualification. I am currently working on my ocean Yachtmaster.
Just now I am skipper of a 42ft yacht out of port Edgar. The boat is a Fast 42 called Gajima. Working along side some of Britain's best sailors. There is a link to Gajimas website on my links page.
When am not on Gajima I am working at port Edgar. Fixing, Cleaning, Polishing and Rigging boats. Doing the odd deliver here and there on boats from the med and Caribbean. Just jumping from boat to boat to get as much work as I can.
Each day I work I get that bit closer to my Mini.
